Scott Brown Blasts Reconciliation for Health Care (Video)

Filed under: Healthcare — Cato Uticensis @ 10:19 AM

Scott Brown appearing on the Kudlow Report blasts reconciliation: Americans don’t want Obamacare!

Kudlow: Did you hear anything today that changed your mind?

Brown: No, it’s a regurgitation of the original Senate plan that incorporates a couple Republican suggestions, but the bottom line is it still cuts a half trillion from Medicare, it’s going to cost a trillion dollars. In Massachusetts it’s going to cost us a tremendous amount of jobs…We need to start over…If they try reconciliation, I can assure you it’s going to cost them in 2010. The people don’t want all the backroom deals, all the political chicanery, the parliamentary maneuvers to try to push through a bill the people don’t want.

Just to add to Senator Brown’s assessment of Obama’s version of the health care bill, it’s like pouring clean water into a dirty pond!
